Our Story

Queen Anne Vision Clinic opened in 1986 by Dr. Leslie Lung. Dr. Lung graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1986, specializing in contact lenses. Additionally, in 1997 Dr. Lung opened another practice, Issaquah Eyeworks, with Dr. Teri Yoshimura. In 2002, Queen Anne Vision Clinic was proud to add Dr. Stacy Taketa to the team of doctors.

Dr. Rachael Barker received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, with honors in all of her clinical coursework.  After optometry school Dr. Barker went on to complete a residency program specializing in pediatric optometry, vision therapy and vision rehabilitation. She has had the opportunity to work in both clinical and academic settings.

Dr. Barker enjoys helping patients of all ages and walks of life with their vision needs but has a special enthusiasm for working with children and teens. In addition, she has participated in two optometric mission trips to provide glasses and eye health exams to patients in Guatemala and Morocco. She is an active member of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development, the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.

As a native of Issaquah, Washington, Dr. Barker is excited to be back in the Seattle area, closer to family and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.  Aside from her passion for optometry Dr. Barker enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

5Dr. Leslie Lung

Dr. Leslie Lung Graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1986, specializing in contact lenses. He held an internship at Seattle Indian Health Board and internship at Grace Peck Optometric Clinic in Portland, Oregon. He has worked in private practice since 1986. Soon Queen Anne Vision Clinic was opened. In 1997 Dr. Lung opened Issaquah Eyeworks with Dr. Teri Yoshimura.He is one of the first optometrists in Washington to be certified to prescribe Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents for the treatment of eye diseases. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Washington Association of Optometric Physicians. He enjoys playing basketball, golf, and traveling with his family. He is active at his church where he teaches a High School Sunday School class.

Dr. Kimberly Pandiangan

Dr. Kimberly Pandiangan grew up in the Seattle area and received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies at the University of Washington. She graduated from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Dr. Pandiangan enjoys helping patients optimize their sight and visual comfort so that seeing is an effortless process, whether it be staring at a computer screen for 10 hours a day or being outdoors in the beautiful PNW. She also treats emergent eye concerns and manages long-term ocular health conditions to preserve patient’s vision. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Washington Association of Optometric Physicians, and the King County Optometric Society.
When not working she can be found spending time with her husband and three children. She likes doing craft projects and dabbles in baking.
